C.O.P.S. is a nationwide, instant search of our criminal records database. This search returns applicant information in a condensed, easy–to–read format saving your staff time from interpreting cryptic criminal background reports.

C.O.P.S. also includes information from the following sources: Multi-State Sex Offender Database, AppALERT, the FBI Terrorist List and Federal/State/Local Wanted Fugitive Lists. C.O.P.S. may be used as a stand-alone service or in conjunction with county criminal searches. When used in conjunction with county criminal searches, C.O.P.S. can help lower the cost of such searches by better identifying which counties should be searched.

A.I.M. – Addresss Information Manager

A.I.M. provides up–to–date information on an applicant’s past addresses and movement patterns based on name and social security number (SSN).

In addition to verifying and returning information on a SSN, A.I.M. provides a report with the following: full name and/or alternate names used by an applicant, dates at listed addresses, age/date of birth, and available phone information. A.I.M. is an investigative starting point that provides a more complete background search when combined with additional screening services.

AIM2COPS

National Background Data’s AIM2COPS is a thoroughly comprehensive background screening tool. It begins by using our powerful investigative tool A.I.M (Address Information Manager) to provide up-to-date information on an applicant’s past addresses, aliases, alternate names and moving patterns based on an applicant’s social security number (SSN). The A.I.M. findings then become an investigative starting point for a more complete criminal background investigation. All names, addresses and dates of birth uncovered from A.I.M. are automatically run through our C.O.P.S (Criminal Offender Profile Summary) service. C.O.P.S. is a robust multijurisdictional search tool from our national criminal directory that returns criminal offender information. Included in the C.O.P.S. search is information on registered sex offenders through our Multi-State Sex Offender (MSSO) Registry Search and identification of known terrorists and fugitives from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), FBI Terrorist List and Federal/State/Local Wanted Fugitives list.

COUNTY CRIMINAL RECORD SEARCH

Provides criminal record searches in any U.S. County. These searches are accessed via the Clerk of Courts Office in the specific county responsible for the applicant’s current and/or former resident, and/or work addresses. We search felony and/or misdemeanor indexes (involving statutory offenses), for the past 7 years.

Each address location that resides within a different court jurisdiction is considered a separate criminal record search. Also, in a situation where an applicant has multiple names, each name will require a separate search.
