Great article that the Yakama Nation won’t allow growing marijuana on their land. They reference the federal law that many people choose to ignore that marijuana is still and federal illegal drug. Their stance towards protecting their people from drug and alcohol abuse is also evident by their 150 year ban on alcohol. Even though deeded land makes this not enforceable the Yakama Nation is a great example of a tribal government realizing how drugs affect a community.
DOT Publishes Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
The Department of Transportation Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) proposes to amend its drug-testing program regulation, 49 CFR part 40 (part 40), to add fentanyl (a
