First License to Produce, Process Recreational Marijuana Issued in Washington State

Since Washington had already legalized recreational marijuana it was about time it caught up to the demand of producers wanting to grow the product to sell. Now they have a system to formally regulate its supply and distribution as the first license is handed out to grow recreational pot. They already have received over 2800 producer applications but compared to Colorado’s 40 approved distributors there might be a lot Washington’s feeling they are being deprived the American Dream.
